6 months old

Ashlyn turned 6 months old today!  Where did this half of the year go?  My little girl is losing her baby face and starting to look more like a little girl!  It is sad yet exciting all at the same time.  She has accomplished so much just in the last month with the biggest accomplishment being that she has started drinking out of a bottle!!  I think she just decided that she could look around a lot easier with the bottle and just started taking it the same day I decided she was just going to have to take it.  That makes mommy really happy.

Some of her other accomplishments
*she is rolling over all the way and uses that mode of transportation to get her to where she wants to be
*she is balancing and rocking on her hands and knees
*she can sit unsupported for lenghty periods of times
*she is starting to "talk" more with her favorite sound being a bear growl! Oh and she loves to scream so watch out!
*she is taking routine naps, usually 2-3 a day, anywhere from 30 min to an hour and a half but at least they come consistantly around the same time now
*She is eating cereal and baby food - does not care too much for the green beans but will eat the peas.  Now on to the next trials of food - prunes and carrots.

We are so blessed by her.  I cannot wait to see how much she learns and grows over the next 6 months.  God has blessed us so much with our little girl.  Happy 6 Months, Ashlyn!!  We love you!
