Today is our 6th anniversary. We celebrated by taking a long weekend trip to Dallas, TX. We drove down to McKinney on Thursday night after eating dinner with the residents at Tokyo steakhouse and stayed at a hotel there. We slept in Friday morning and then made our way to the outlet mall in Allen, TX which was a really neat mall. I would suggest if you like to shop or just like outlet malls to stop there if you get a chance. We finished there early afternoon and made our way to our hotel in Dallas and just relaxed the rest of the evening. We were going to go hot tubbing but the hot tub was out of order (bummer). So we just watched TV and ordered room service pizza for dinner.
Saturday we slept in and then made our way to Cabela's and Bass Pro to do a little more shopping. Inbetween the two stores we went to a glass blowing place in Grapevine. It was really neat. We got there just as they were starting a new piece so it was fun to see. We made our way back to our hotel to relax afterwards before heading to the Dallas Stars vs Minnesota Wild hockey game. It was a good game despite the fact that the Minnesota Wild lost. As you can guess, I was in the minority rooting for the Wild. But it did go into overtime so made it a good game. This morning we just had room service breakfast and made our way home to finish out our weekend at home.
I have been blessed to be married to Ryan for 6 years and am looking forward to many, many more to come!

We were able to text messages to be put on the score board at the game so Ryan texted this message so we could take a picture! It was pretty cool.

Having some fun at the game taking our own picture!
How fun! Happy anniversary! I love to watch glass blowing. They make it look so easy!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a very fun trip - glad Ryan was able to have the time off! Praying for several more years of happiness for you!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! Hey, I was wanting to ask you some questions about being a Mary Kay Rep, if you don't mind and also wanted to see if my mom and I could order some Cream to Powder foundation from you.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!
