10 months old

Ashlyn turned ten months old on Saturday and she celebrated her first Halloween on Sunday.  We traveled to Kansas City last Monday for Ryan's annual hunting trip with my brother.  We spent the week there and Ashlyn had a wonderful time hanging out with her cousins and going trick or treating.  Ryan was blessed on his last day in the woods with a doe so we once again are able to stock our freezer with meat.

Ashlyn eventually made her way up to this skeleton.  We think she might have thought it was another kid and when she touched the pumpkin the skeleton started singing.  She just sat there and stared at it!

Wow, it is so hard to believe that Ashlyn is already ten months old and is only two months away from turning 1 year old!  It is so much fun to watch her learn new things every day.  I cannot imagine my life without her.  Praise God for answered prayers!
