Graduation/4th of July

It's official!!  Ryan is finished with his residency and is now an attending family medicine physician!  He graduated on Thursday, June 30th with a nice ceremony. Wow, the journey has been long.  I am so proud of him.  We are blessed to have him home for the whole month of July before he starts his clinic job on August 1.  Congratulations, Ryan!!!

We took off on Friday, July 1st for Missouri to spend the 4th of July weekend with my family at my parent's lake property at Lake of the Ozarks.  All I can say is God bless our van as we not only had Ashlyn with us but we also brought Oscar and needed all the room the van provided.  We had a great time and Ashlyn had a few more firsts.  I was also blessed to be able to officiate my brother and sister-in-law's wedding vows renewal ceremony after celebrating 10 years of marriage.  It was beautiful.

Anna was our safety director for the week.  After learning all about safety from Dora, she made sure that every time we were on the boat and it was moving that we had our lifejackets on and buckled.  We couldn't go unless we were safe.  What a great girl!

Ashlyn sitting with Grandpa and Grandma, enjoying her first fireworks display.  She wasn't too sure at first but by the end of our own fireworks display she kept asking for more.

The Groom walking with the flower girls/bridesmaids to his Bride who was waiting at the alter.

They even had a sand ceremony in the vow renewal ceremony.

Cousins enjoying breakfast together.  Or at least the girls were and David just wanted to be near while he played his DS

All tuckered out from a great weekend.
