A year and a half

Our baby turned a year and a half old today!  How did that happen?  Our lives forever changed 18 months ago and it has been nothing but blessings since.  Daily Ashlyn makes us laugh, makes us smile, challenges our abilities as parents, surprises us by what she has learned, etc.  Just yesterday she clearly said "help me" when she had only been signing and saying help when we asked her if she needed help.  Now she is asking for things, clearly showing her understanding of what she is saying, and is very patient with us when we don't understand what she is saying and have to keep asking her to repeat it.  Sometimes she will just get up and show us what she wants when she gets tired of trying to get us to understand her words.  God has blessed us!!!  Happy 18 months Ashlyn!!
