We have been adjusting to life with our new puppy.  Oscar is doing better every day at potty training and following commands.  The biggest thing is getting him to leave Tippy Toes alone.  Oscar likes to look at Tips as a play mate and Tippy Toes would rather Oscar just leave him alone and is not afraid to let Oscar know it with a few whaps!  There are more truce times than not though between the two! :-)

Here is one of those truce moments!

We got our fence replaced and it took the poor guys 4 days in the upper 90 degree heat to finish it.  The installing company only sent 2 men to do the job.  We were grateful they worked on Saturday to finish it.  The cows on the farm behind us were very curious and wanted to watch what was going on.

Ryan and I were very fortunate to have Lasik surgery done this past Monday and it worked very well.  What a blessing to not have to use contacts or glasses to see.  Ryan's mom flew in to help out and to watch Ashlyn while we had our surgery.  Ashlyn loved having Grandma Shaffer here.  Here is a picture of her working on her computer while Grandma worked on hers!
